So, yesterday I went to post on my blog but got interrupted when Sam came in saying Benji hit a tree while sledding and wouldn't get up. SCARY!!!! Luckily, he's fine.(Just had to have three stitches. Other events: School, yes, Christmas break is officially over. I had to reteach myself some math. Tend to forget that sooner than other stuff. On Friday, we get to go to a Jane Eyre play and I can't wait. I just read the book and I loved it. Isaac, and I get to go with the moms, Christina, Rebekah, and Hannah. I wiggling in my seat just thinking about it! Okay, maybe not wiggling, but I'm excited. Hmmmn... other events... nope, can't think of anything else at the moment. Apologies for neglecting my blog!

Happenings

Sam enjoys grossing me out by showing me his cut toe. But other than that everything has been going well. We got our driveway paved on Tuesday and I go out every chance I get to rollerblade. :) My brothers are already bored of it and say, "You're going out AGAIN Ella? Can you do something else other than school and rollerblading?"
My reply: "Believe it or not, I really like rollerblading, and yes, it is within my capabilities to do other things."

Isaac's concert went very well on Sunday. We brought Grandma and Grandpa, Christina, Rebekah and Courtney. My fav. piece was: Ride of the Valkyries. It was AWESOME!

Favorite saying: 'i' before 'e' except... when you run a feisty heist on a weird beige foreign neighbor.

I am asking for prayer as a huge hurricane is going to come really close to my Aunt's home. Part of the city has already been evacuated. They're calling the storm Frankenstorm because it's SO big! It's going to be hard of her to have to stay in for a while with a new born and a toddler. Thanks! :) 

Yes I'm Alive

Sorry I haven't written in a long time. School's kept me quite busy. I've been practicing piano a lot since the next SAT is coming up in March. My family made August 13th spectacular for me. I turned 13 on the 13th! I just couldn't wait till thanksgiving for my favorite pies, so instead of a Birthday cake I had Birthday pies! (My favorite kind too!)

A Poem

I was bored yesterday so I decided to write a poem:
                                              A Day at the Farm

The rooster is crowin’

The farmer awakes

He starts the mowin’

His wife starts to bake

The cow needs milkin’

The dog needs fed

The field needs tillin’

The owl goes to bed

The horses need ridden

The baby starts to cry

Off to bed he is bidden

Mom will sing him a lullaby

The day goes fast

The sun’s going down

Now the day is past

The farmer frowns

Tomorrow though, more work will be done

Now off to bed before up comes the sun

SAT(Student Achievement Testing)

Hey! I just got back from my test! Heh heh. This is probably the worst it's gone out of all of them. But, I don't think I'll get below 70 % right. The hot weather is amazing! I mean it's still a March in Michigan! Dad thinks it's still going to snow, which it probably is. Sigh... The Father Daughter banquet went really well. The guest singer was Chris August. He is really good. Well, I don't really know what else to say so I guess that means it's time to get off.

Ella's Blog

Hey! This is Ella. I've officially taken over the Sarver Blog. I hope to be posting on it regularly. Things have been going great in the Sarver household. It is SO warm outside! (and beautiful) Isaac is hoping to start his garden soon. (I help w/it) Having the Glidewells staying here has been a real pleasure. I like playing with their three older girls. They're around my age. I can't wait till we can take our canoe out on our lake. Just recently we got a new dog his name is Taron and he is 1 and a half years old. Well, that's all I have to say right now, so see ya!
