Winter Wonders

Hi everybody! Isaac here! The blog is finally going now! If you don't live up North, you'd be driven crazy by all this snow. We've got loads and loads of it. We've started renting it out to people in Florida (just kidding.) We've built forts and ramps and have gone sledding for hours.
I've been having a lot of fun learning the string bass and piano. I practice string bass with two other people I know, Rebecca and Christina, (If you've read the Birmingham Buzz, you'll know what I'm talking about). I've taken piano lessons for 41/2 years.
We are going through the long and hard journey of building a house in the woods. It's still really fun, though. So despite the blog title, we don't live in the woods yet. We live in a sub-division.
We have a Wednesday Bible Study with six other families. It's a blast! We learn so much. We usually read a chapter of the Bible, then talk about it. Right now we are studying James. The hosts always serve the best food.
We have a dog Bailey, who I think is losing her mind. We put her in the basement while we we were gone, and she peed on the floor, so we put her in the garage. Then, she ripped up the garage door. We got a cage for her, and she ripped the bars off, leaving sharp points, and she tried to put her head through the hole she made, got it stuck, and injured her face and leg. I had to clean Bailey up with a wet rag. I feel kind of bad for her.
Christmas is coming up and I love it! The best part is, I can wait, because we have egg nog. I'm addicted (not really), but I still love it. I love christmas shopping too. I love wrapping presents. I love the Christmas Eve service (speaking of that, I might be playing my string bass in the service this year). I love decorating ( okay, I'm a boy. but does that really matter? who cares.) Everybody needs to remember what Christmas is really about, Jesus Christ, who is the reason we can have the hope of eternal life. If you haven't already, try memorizing Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
I hope everybody goes out and buys egg nog after reading this. I meet so many people who don't like it, and when I hear that I almost cry, for their sake. I guess I'll wrap up now. Thanks for reading, and don't forget to check in again!
